More fruit

Here is the peach with some added colour, using Inktense pencils. I was going to sketch a banana, but then I ate it! Luckily, an empty banana skin is, if anything, more interesting to sketch than a full one. This also uses Inktense pencils and a Copic pen. And just to round off today's post and old-style red telephone box. This is a K6, the most common variation on the original design by G.G. Scott.

Amazing what a little color will do. That banana skin is so interesting, I may have to try it also. Love the telephone box.

The peach looks fabulous with colour Dave.
I don't believe I have ever sketched a banana skin, how right you are...it looks much more interesting empty!
Ahhhh, The telephone box, that's my favourite of your post, you have rendered it sooooo well!

Ha, ha - I often eat my still life subjects too. Some before I get around to painting them - and the rest when I've finished, or more likely half finished. Love the colour on the peach. The banana skin is great and I too love your phone box.

Oh the hazards of still life drawings :) Sometimes the subject gets eaten.

I agree, the banana peel is far more interesting. The peach with colour is very solid and the phone box superb.

That's a great effect on the peach Dave.

Great peach and banana skin but top of the pile is the phone box - flavour of home! Great to see what you are doing!
