Here's another painting from my recent holiday. This one is a bit larger, a 1/4 sheet. More practice with grey skies!

    That's a very successful sky, Dave - you can just feel it's getting ready to rain. I hope it's not too close to the reality of your vacation!

    How is it in Oxford - are you flooded yet? I was watching the Isis last night on the ITV news special about the flooding - I don't think I've ever seen it mimicing a raging torrent before..........

    All that grey sky practice is going to come in handy...........
